El Paso Cosmetic Surgery invites qualified candidates to apply for its comprehensive Aesthetic Surgery Fellowship Program, set within the framework of a well-established, high-volume private practice. The fellowship offers extensive, practical experience across a multitude of aesthetic surgical disciplines including, but not limited to, advanced facial surgery techniques (such as facelifts, deep neck lifts, and rhinoplasties), primary and revisionary breast surgeries, as well as comprehensive body contouring procedures.
The primary practice location houses an accredited surgical center with two fully operational operating rooms, with a third currently under construction. Also present is a certified recovery unit, where post-operative patients have the option for overnight stay, which is seamlessly integrated with the practice's office, clinic, and a Medical Spa.
Fellows will also gain invaluable exposure to our two busy Medical Spas, each equipped with an expansive array of state-of-the-art technologies. The clinical environment is designed to be intellectually stimulating and professionally rewarding, with a curriculum that covers not only surgical skills but also encompasses patient management, clinical assessment training, practice management, business development strategies, and leadership cultivation.
The fellowship program operates on a rigorous schedule comprising four operative days and one consultation day per week, supplemented by follow-up and post-operative consultations throughout the week. The program further features a dedicated fellow clinic with privileges for independent operations. Additionally, formal training in injectables will be provided, mentored by two of our certified Allergan trainers.
A significant emphasis is placed on mentorship, and opportunities for academic research are readily available. The fellowship also facilitates avenues for continuous learning through participation in both national and international Aesthetic Surgery conferences.
Qualifications: Applicants are required to have completed an ACGME-accredited plastic surgery residency program and must either be board-eligible or board-certified in plastic surgery by the commencement of the fellowship. Furthermore, candidates must either possess or secure a Texas medical license prior to the program's start date.
Compensation: The fellowship offers a competitive salary along with an additional stipend for conference participation.
