Description

The Langsdon Plastic Surgery Clinic offers a comprehensive one-year aesthetic surgery fellowship in the areas of facial rejuvenation and reshaping of the breast, body, and extremities. Qualified candidates will be board-eligible or board-certified plastic surgeons at the start of their fellowship. The Langsdon Clinic is a 100% clinical aesthetic practice established in 1986. The facility is located in Germantown, a suburb 10 miles east of Memphis, Tennessee. Attached on-site is a fully accredited, full-service Ambulatory Surgery Center where 80% of the practice’s procedures are performed.

The fellowship director is Roberto D. Lachica, MD. He is a board-certified plastic surgeon and an active Aesthetic Society member since 2005. He is an expert in procedures for reshaping the breast (mastopexy, augmentation, revision breast surgery, reduction), abdominal/trunk contouring (lipoabdominoplasty, buttockplasty), extremities(brachioplasty, thighplasty) and surgery after MWL. He has additional background experience in microvascular and implant-based breast reconstruction. He has been a Senior ABPS Oral Board Examiner since 2018.

Phillip R. Langsdon, MD is a board-certified facial plastic surgeon and is the founder of the Langsdon Clinic. He is a nationally-recognized expert in facial rejuvenation with vast expertise in the deep-plane facelift, primary/secondary rhinoplasty, and blepharoplasty. He is extensively published.

There are ample opportunities for non-invasive facial rejuvination-  fillers, Botox, CO2 laser, and chemical peel.  Two full-time facial Aestheticians complement the training experience. Additional educational opportunities occur in the practices of other board-certified plastic surgeons, as well as our colleagues in occuloplastic surgery and otolaryngology. There are numerous opportunities for aesthetic surgery clinical research suitable for presentation and/or publication. Memphis (and the surrounding Germantown suburb) is a very busy medical community. It is smaller, yet extremely vibrant city, with a a fantastic variety of entertainment, food, sports, and outdoor activities. It is a family-friendly and has a very reasonable cost of living.
