Surgery with mildly thickened aortic valve with no stenosis and LVH?
Asked 2018-12-12
I have had 2 normal stress tests, normal chest X-rays, and a normal echocardiogram a few months ago. My second/more recent echocardiogram is mostly normal except for a mildly thickened aortic valve with no stenosis and LVH: my LVH is expected since I’m tall and slim and several doctors say I can receive clearance for rhinoplasty but I’m not certain. Your thoughts doctor?

Surgical clearance is something determined by a physician. Have your primary doctor or cadiologist document your evaluation. Get a copy with a copy of your EKG. Take that to your rhinoplasty surgeon before you schedule. They normally will provide it to the individual performing the anesthesia for your surgery. Best,
