Outer eyebrows and Botox
Can I get a Botox brow lift that focuses on my outer eyebrows?
My inner eyebrows are at the same level or slightly higher than my outer eyebrows giving them a slightly droopy look if I don't use make up or brush them up. I also have a horizontal line across the upper part of my nose which I believe involves the procerus muscle (I do not have 11's). Would I be able to get Botox at my procerus muscle for that horizontal line without raising my inner eyebrows much?
I routinely perform lateral brow lifts when I treat the crowsfeet wrinkles with Botox. Also this can be performed as an isolated procedure with Botox. Horizontal wrinkles of the upper nose can be improved with Botox. However if these wrinkles are etched a filler may be required.
Thank you for your question. You're correct. You can have Botox injections in the procerus muscle to soften the horizontal line along the bridge of your nose. It is best to do this early. Once this wrinkle gets deep, it is often difficult to completely eliminate with Botox. Also you can raise your lateral brow by injecting Botox in the orbicularis oculi muscle just under the lateral aspect of the brow.
