I have had two breast reductions in the past. I gained weight, but lost all of it and my breasts are as big as before. Would a third surgery be possible? How many people does this happen to?
I am 45. My first breast reduction was done at age 33 using liposuction. They grew back so I had it done again when I was 38 more invasively. I gained weight but have lost it all, except for my breast area. I was down to a 34 C and now I honestly cannot find a bra or bathing suit that fits. I am considering a third time. From a clinical standpoint, what are the chances a third time would be successful? Thank you!
Desde luego que es posible, envianos tus fotos y con gusto te hacemos una valoracion en linea para ver que tecnica necesitamos utilizar contigo. Pero desde luego que si es posible.
Pregnancy and extremes of weight gain (> 50lbs) can require many patients to have additional breast surgery after an intial breast reduction. Yes, some patients require more than one breast reduction in their lifetimes. Remember, there are different types of Breast Reductions. Consider getting copies of the operative reports from your previous surgical procedures. Then, seek out a member of the ASAPS in your area to discuss your concerns. They are experts in Re-Operative Surgery.

A third breast reduction can be performed as long as the prior to procedure details are known to the surgeon so that he or she may follow that technique. Deviation from the previous techniques could result in healing complications especially of the the nipple/areola. Additionally, It seems that a stable weigh would be crucial to the long-term success of your procedure.
Thanks for the question. It is not common at all for women to undergo multiple breast reductions. The breast is a skin organ made up of multiple different components but primarily breast tissue and fat. With the liposuction, only the fatty tissue would be been removed. It may have grown back secondary to weight gain or hormonal changes such as birth control pills or pregnancy. A surgical reduction where tissue is removed includes both breast tissue and fat. Again, significant weight gain or other changes related to pregnancy, BCP or even menopause will change the breast size and diet then to only address the fatty tissue in the breast. You need to re-consult hopefully you original surgeon who would have the records of the type of reduction you had. If you are unable to see the original surgeon, then I would recommend you try an obtain with operative report that will describe the type of procedure. Since there are multiple ways to perform a breast reduction, that information will be invaluable in a discussed as to what options would be available to you now.
