Extra breast tissue
I had an accessory nipple removed a couple years ago but they did not remove the extra breast tissue that accompanied it. The thing is, the extra tissue is under my breast to the point where it makes it look miss shaped. The breast does not recede normally at the bottom because of the extra tissue still there. The amount of tissue is small but very annoying and makes bras very uncomfortable because the underwire is right where the extra tissue is. How much would it cost to remove this small piece of tissue? The surgeon who removed the nipple said he didn't want to remove any extra tissue in fear of making my breast look more miss shaped.
The cost is variable as stated previously and would depend on the extent of the surgery, the place of surgery and geographically where you are located. If your body has changed since the first procedure, such as a pregnancy or weight gain, then any little bit of tissue that remained would have changed with it. If you are not in agreement with your surgeons assessment, then I would recommend a second opinion with another Board Certified Plastic Surgeon.
This sounds like a straight forward issue for you to resolve. Cost will vary based on geographic location, complexity of the problem and surgeon's experience. It is best to get personal consultations with several board certified plastic surgeons.
