Hello Members!
I am excited to provide you with a quick update, just as we are coming off the high of The Aesthetic MEET 2025. With over 2,000 attendees, expert-led programming, a vibrant marketplace, and memorable networking events, this year’s event was certainly one to remember. It helped cement our core mission of providing superior and cutting-edge education, and a powerful sense of community for surgeons, partners, and members, including our new AlliedPro non-surgical professionals. Thank you all for making this a great event.
I would also like to take this opportunity to personally acknowledge and thank Dr. Kiya Movassaghi and Dr. Oni Garcia for their incredible leadership this past year with The Society and The Foundation. For those who have not viewed the year-end review video we premiered at the business meeting in Austin, please click here to get a sense of the excitement and great pride we feel as we share our many accomplishments and the momentum we’ve established going forward.
I also want to give a big welcome to our new leadership, Dr. Tracy Pfeifer and Dr. Patricia McGuire, as well as those members starting their new terms with both Boards. Their dedication and passion will continue to build on the momentum and continuity we have created. Our future has never looked so bright, as we maintain our growth mindset, staying ahead of the marketplace and competitors, and create innovative ways to engage and provide value to our members and partners. This year we will continue to lean into what I call our “brand lift” - elevating our identity and presence, strengthening our relationships and engagement with our network of domestic and international members and societies, and continuing to find the best methods for driving innovative education.
I would be remiss if I didn’t remind everyone of the upcoming April 21st deadline for submitting applications to serve on the 2025-2026 nominating committee. Last year we went through a governance assessment, and one of the outcomes was ensuring our nomination process allowed us to cast a wide net as we seek members for this critical committee. We are developing a competency criteria model, which the committee will use as they vet candidates for both The Society and The Foundation Board of Directors. I can’t stress enough the importance of this committee, as they are responsible for evaluating and identifying the individuals with the right skills to fill in the gaps on our current boards and ultimately drive our strategic goals. Please click here to apply, and please encourage any peers you think would be a great addition to the committee to apply as well.
In addition to the upcoming webinars: our monthly Masterclass series, the AlliedPro Forum, and ASJ Journal Club and GEMS for our MOU global alliance partners, I invite you to mark your calendars for our Face and Rhinoplasty Symposium taking place November 7-8, 2025 in Boca Raton, Florida. This will be an incredible program, as we have partnered with the MedSpa Pro Meeting and will overlap their program, allowing us to leverage and share a top-tier faculty lineup and leading industry exhibitors. I encourage your entire team - surgeons and non-surgical professionals - to attend.

Thanks to all of you who have renewed your membership and continue to invest in your professional growth and the future of our organization. I look forward to seeing and speaking with you soon.
Sincerely,
CEO, The Aesthetic Society & The Aesthetic Foundation
