If you had told the ten-year-old me, growing up in New Orleans, that I would become a plastic surgeon in New York when I grew up, I would have said, "What is a plastic surgeon?" As the son of a UPS driver, this dream came later in life. However, as I studied medicine and the surgical arts I was drawn like a moth to a flame by the dance of art, form, function, and science that is plastic surgery.
