Dr. Bengtson is one of the global leaders in the use of Acellular Dermal Matrix (Alloderm®/ Strattice™) in revisional cosmetic breast surgery.
He is also one of only two Board-Certified Plastic Surgeon National Trainers for Botox® and Juvederm® in Michigan, with extensive experience and a proven record of safety providing cosmetic treatments and other medical skincare procedures.
Dr. Bengtson is actively involved with many research projects and clinical trials to help bring new, innovative products to the market. Dr. Bengtson is one of two Board Certified Plastic Surgeons serving as Medical Director of Symmetry Med Spa located inside the Bengtson Center for Aesthetics and Plastic Surgery. “We all want healthy, glowing, youthful-looking skin, but in order to achieve that, we need a quality, personalized skincare regimen to follow each day,” said Dr. Bengtson. “All patients have unique challenges regarding their skin and bodies, and Symmetry Med Spa meets those challenges head on, with a highly trained team, advanced technologies, and unparalleled service to deliver proven results.”
Patients experience a full service med spa including medical grade skincare, advanced skincare and laser technology solutions including Sciton BBL Heroic™, Halo® and Moxi® treatments as well as hair restoration technologies including NeoGraft Hair Restoration and Alma Ted. Physician based skincare products include ZO Skin Health, skinbetter skincare and Alastin skincare. Injectable solutions offered include BOTOX and Dysport as well as Juvederm®, Restylane® and RHA® facial fillers.
