A perfectionist at heart, coupled with a passion for being at the forefront of science are what inspired Dr Richland not only to the field of medicine, but specifically plastic surgery With a record of achievement - the first and only
two-time recipient of the academic achievement award during his training at the University of California at Irvine, and the recipient of the Top Surgery Student while attending medical school at Saint Louis University; Dr Richland brings the same dedication, exacting standards and meticulous eye to each patient he has the privilege to serve.

From the beginning of his career in plastic surgery, Dr Richland has settled for nothing less than excellence in every pursuit - including his election to the Alpha Omega Alpha (AOA) and Alpha Sigma Nu medical honor societies during his training.

In this pursuit of excellence Dr Richland then completed six years of training in Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery at University of California, Irvine (UCI), one of the most competitive, hands-on and coveted plastic surgery programs in the world
