Thank you for the question.... What I try to explain to all my liposuction patients is that when you remove fat, it deflates your skin a little and the skin will be a little more loose. If you have a large volume removed, it may be a lot more loose. This is much more of a problem in the abdomen than the waist or low back. So, adding BodyTite or a Tummytuck are both reasonable options. Which one you choose depends on how much skin laxity is expected. I have been using BodyTite for a couple years now. The results are great! But, it is true, the majority of the skin tightening happens over the first 6 months, then just a little more tightening up to a year.

Thank you for your question and I understand your concern. You would need to be examined in person to know for sure what the issue is in your case. it is most likely due to excess fat beneath the areola that is protruding when your tissues are relaxed and compressed when you are cold and the muscles in your areola contract. If the tissue beneath your nipple/areola is soft, then it is most likely fat and can be treated with liposuction. If it is firm then it is most likely breast tissue and more difficult to remove without damage to the ducts and nerves to your nipples. Breast augmentation after major weight loss

My health history is 3 pregnancies (2002,2006,2014), breast reduction 2008, and gastric bypass surgery 2012 resulting in 140lb weight loss. What is recommended for breast augmentation in my case? When using larger implants 600cc HP under the muscle what is needed for this to be a successful surgery?

One of the most important things to get a beautiful breast is for your nipples to be located in the correct position. If you have drooping after your 140 lb weight loss and having 3 children, a breast lift may be necessary. It is also important to choose the correct implant size and profile (ie: dimensions) to fit your breast and your frame. Good Luck Dr Markmann

Uneven breasts after weight gain

I had a breast augmentation about eight years ago. In the past few years, I have gained about 42 pounds. I am in the process of losing it. However, one breast now seems larger than the other one. My question is, will they both even out after I have lost all the weight I have gained?

If your breasts were relatively even after your augmentation procedure, then when you get back to your post augmentation weight, they will likely be even again. If not, then discuss your concerns with your surgeon.
