Education & Training
Dr. Donaldson pursued his medical degree at The Ohio State University and a five-year general surgery residency at Maine Medical Center in Portland, Maine. He was selected from over 100 surgeons to train in plastic surgery fellowship at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. After completing this program, he was selected for a highly prestigious and sought-after oculoplastic/aesthetic surgery sub-specialty fellowship at Paces Plastic Surgery in Atlanta with Emory faculty members Mark Codner, Rod Hester, Sonny McCord and Foad Nahai. During the last 12 years of his medical education and training, Dr. Donaldson was invited to join his mentors and become academic faculty, but he decided to return to Columbus to establish a practice near family in his hometown.
