About Tim Abou-Sayed, MD, MBA, FACS
Introduction
Dr. Sayed is a double-board-certified plastic surgeon in practice for over 20 years. He trained at the prestigious Massachusetts General Hospital (Harvard) and UCSF. He has a background that includes technology in healthcare and aesthetic and reconstructive surgery. He is a national leader in explant and revision breast surgery, and was a hospital wound care center medical director. He has co-founded startups in skincare (including Elevai Labs, an exosome skincare product line) and digital health and is a leader of plastic surgery organizations. Dr. Sayed is an avid musician, traveler, writer and trivia expert (he won 3 episodes of TV's Jeopardy!), and is a proud father of two amazing kids.
Professional Background
Dr. Sayed practiced in south Florida for over a decade doing a mix of reconstructive and aesthetic plastic surgery. He has practiced in Southern California since 2017, focusing on aesthetic surgery, with particular expertise in breast implant illness patients seeking explant surgery, as well as body contouring and revision breast surgery patients. He also offers facial cosmetic surgery, injectables, laser and RF microneedling treatments as well as medically supervised weight loss with GLP-1 medications.
